Unless these are really nice, we tend to pass. What attracted us to this GEM was its stunning velvety appearance. The surfaces are flawless and actually beam with luster. A light pewter/lavender like color makes the coin look velvety. It definitely is NOT dull. Every detail is also sharply struck. The eye appeal is clearly superior to most ST’s. PCGS 85, NGC 77. The last one to sell in a major public auction was for $3,738.00 11/07 Heritage. Commems like this have been too cheap for too long.
