J- 990 50C 1870 NGC PR64+RB EX SIMPSON

This is a high R-7 (5-7 minted). No question this coin has never been messed with and has acquired gorgeous moderate color. It is also a real Pattern, NOT a die trial.

Strong and ultra clear mirrors are clean and have great flash. Zero problems are visible to the naked eye. About 25% GEM ORIGINAL MINT RED is still visible. The balance is brown/navy/purple colors. Miss Liberty and the details boldly stand out with razor sharp strikes and plenty of frost. The eye appeal is superb!

PCGS 1, NGC 1, CAC 1. The lone 65 is in the Simpson Collection. The last time one of these was in a major auction was back in 2003. It brought $7,590.00 in a Stacks sale. We sure think this coin represents exceptional quality and value!
