Ex Eliasberg-the greatest collection ever formed. This is is a R-7 (4-12 minted) Standard Silver half struck in silver. It has beautiful toning!
Both sides have deep, clear, perfectly clean, and highly reflective mirrors. The surfaces are evenly covered by a superb mix of pale navy/purple/olive/gold colors that are NOT dull. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is fabulous!
We believe this to be the second finest known after our Simpson specimen. PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. There are NO auction records for any PR65. The Judd Book lists these at $5,500.00 in PR65. Considering there are no others, that’s low. Opportunity knocks loud here!
