J- 954 1870 PCGS PR64+BN

This is an R-7 (4-12 minted).

PCGS did this wonderful GEM no favors by not grading it a PR65. We see no reason it is not a full GEM!

We think a HIDDEN (and we mean hidden) die line is all that kept it from PR65. Both sides display amazing glassy and crystal clear mirrors that have both stunning depth and powerful reflectivity. There are No discolorations. Swirling and heart pounding colors of rich chocolate/violet/blue colors are on all parts of the surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have excellent strikes. The eye appeal is tremendous!

PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. There are TWO others graded higher. Both are PR66 and both are in private collections (yes, one is Simpson). We doubt another specimen will be offered anytime soon. Opportunity knocks incredibly loud here!
