This coin is a R7 (4-12 minted). It is a Standard silver pattern minted in silver. The coin is clearly a Superb GEM!
Both sides are graced by exceptionally clean, clear, and highly reflective mirrors. There are some Mint made die polishing lines scattered about, but they are light and do not detract. An even moderate mix of purple/blue/pale violet colors blankets the surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and stand out. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. There are NO auction records for any PR65’s. The Judd book values a PR65 at $4,250.00. Like most other Patterns, we think this date is undervalued.
