This is an R-7 (4-12 minted). It is a William Barber designed Liberty Seated pattern. We do believe this coin is a touch better than our NGC PR66 Simpson specimen-making this most likely the FINEST KNOWN.
Absolutely AMAZING and completely pristine surfaces are deeply mirrored. There are more lines on the holder than the coin! The intense reflectivity of the mirrors can be compared to liquid mercury being painted on a surface-WOW! Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and bold silvery white. They are all fully struck. There is no way your eyes can stay in their sockets when they see this coin!
PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. The Judd book values a PR65 at $8,500.00. We bought this coin really right and will pass the good deal on to you! The potential of this piece is staggering.
