J-72 1838 PCGS PR64

This is an R5 (31-75 minted). It is a Gobrecht Half Dollar design. Too bad this design was not picked. This is a VERY HIGH END GEM. Deep mirrors beam vividly from all over. The mirrors also have great clarity and are super clean. The few light lines there are are well hidden and  can only be seen with a strong glass. A marvelous mix of natural navy/deep pewter frames the devices along the rims. Miss Liberty and the details are so strongly struck they stand out and look sculpted. The eye appeal is awesome! PCGS 8, NGC 0, CAC 3. The last CAC PR64 to sell in auction, was an NGC coin. That piece realized $6,325.00 02/2015. The current Collectors  Universe Value is $7,250.00. A regular 1838 PCSG PR64 CAC Half would cost you at least  $125,000.00-if you could even find one.
