This coin is a HIGH R-7 (4-12 known). It is called a transitional as the reverse has “In God We Trust” motto. We can not over describe this coins outstanding quality!
No question this magnificent piece is VERY High End. The mirrors are super deep and have bold clarity. There are NO disturbances anywhere. The reflectivity is powerful. Both sides are blanketed by a moderate n original swirling mix of deep champagne/pale purple/silver colors. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do have thick creamy frost. The eye appeal is awesome!
PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. There is a PR66 in the Simpson Collection. That coin will probably not appear in our lifetime on the market. Some how, there is a current Collectors Universe value of $40,000.00. The Judd book values a PR 65 at $60,000.00. Your never going to get another chance at a GEM unless there is a discovery coin!
