This is a die trial. It is also a R-7 (21-35 pieces minted). Great color and strike!
The only thing we think holds this coin back from full PR65 Status-a few wispy asnf extra light hairlines. They are NOT visible to the naked eye. Both sides have terrific mirrors that are sleek, super clean, and have strong reflectivity. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are struck almost in 3-D (yes they are that sharp)! The eye appeal is mind boggling!
PCGS 5, NGC 0, CAC 1. The only coin finer is locked away in the Simpson Pattern Collection. Opportunity knocks VERY loud here!
