J- 316 2C 1863 PCGS PR65BN

$11,500.00

This is an R-6 (13-30 minted). It is the original design of the regular 2C piece that was adopted in 1865. It is struck in copper and bronze. We are pleased to offer this numismatic delicacy to collectors!

These are NO hits, lines, or problems visible. With a strong glass you can see the dies were heavily polished. The mirrors are light. A deep mix of brown/pale purple/chocolate/pale navy colors all swirl together on both sides. There are NO spots or stains. Every detail is razor sharp. The eye appeal is very pleasing!

PCGS 1, NGC 1, CAC 1. This coin sold for $9,200.00 in 10/2008. The Judd book values these at $15,000.00 in PR65. There are no other auction records for an PR65. This will make a really cool addition to any regular PR 2C Set. How many people can say they have 1863-1873? Not many!
