This is a R-5 (31-76 minted). We have NEVER seen ANY W/Motto pattern silver half ever toned like this!
Technically, we feel strongly this coin is a PR65. Obviously, PCGS did not. Their only possible reason, the irregularity of the toning. Unquestionably original, the toning has dramatic hues of royal blue/gold/golden brown/green/purple/violet colors that all swirl together wildly. The mirrors are deep, crystal clear, clean, and have stunning reflectivity. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have fully struck features. The eye appeal is wildly colorful!
PCGS 9, NGC 0, CAC 1. This is a totally fresh coin to the market. The last one to sell in major auction brought $1,955.00 06/2010 B+M, we promise you, this is a much better coin!
