J-1710 5C 1883 PCGS PR64DCAMEO

$4,500.00

Identical to the J-1704 except in stead of saying PURE NICKEL, it shows 50 n, 50 c. This coin is an R-5 (31-75 minted). It is minted in Nickel.

Shimmering mirrors are smooth, clean, clear, deep, and flashy. The only imperfection is a Mint made planchet crack/light grease mark on the reverse. There is a blush of faint golden toning in parts of the fields. Miss Liberty and the details are razor sharp in strike and do show off thick creamy white frost. The eye appeal is terrific!

We could not get the correct PCGS/NGC pops for this grade and this state of preservation (DCameo). The 2009 Judd book values a PR65 at $5,250.00. Even though its R-6, you still do not see many of these offered.
