J- 168 1855 PCGS PR64RB ORIGINAL

This is an R-4 (76-200 minted) test design of a Large Cent with a Flying Eagle. Even though these were popular designs, the Mint deemed them impractical and shrunk the coins and used a different design. This coin is exceptionally nice!

This coin does indeed display full mirrors. They are deep, clear, clean, and do have good reflectivity. With a strong glass you actually can see light die clashing. The colors are a totally ORIGINAL deeper golden brown/violet brown color. All of the details are sharply struck and stand out with light frost. The eye appeal is fabulous!
