This is an R-7 (4-12 minted) Goloid Metric Dollar struck in copper. It is the same design as the Stella of that year.

Wicked cool quality and eye appeal. Both sides have exceptional shimmering mirrors that have great cleanliness, clarity, and surprising reflectivity. A totally heartpounding moderate color mix of brown/violet/red/gold/pale pearl green swirls all over. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is awesome!

PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. There are NO auction records. The Judd book values a PR 65 at $12,000.00 while the Collectors Universe price is $11,500.00. Regardless of the value, chances of seeing another one remotely similar are slim to none!
