This is an R-6 31-50 minted. It is VERY HIGH END an example of Charles Barbers Wash lady design. The metal is silver.
This is one of the nicest Wash ladies we have ever seen (we have handled a monster multicolored piece-which ranks as the finest). This is a fully black and white coin that borders on Ultra Cameo. The mirrors are really ultra deep, have amazing clarity, appear watery, and have outrageous reflectivity. You can see everything around you with these mirrors. The mirrors are also super clean w/just a scattered line or two visible. Miss Liberty and the details are perfectly struck and have heart pounding with thick white frost. The eye appeal is like the quality-AMAZING!
PCGS 1, NGC, 0, CAC 1. The ONLY auction record we could find was for a NON Cameo Wash lady-that coin sold for $20,900.00 in 1990 Superior! today, the Judd book values a regular PR 65 at $28,500.00. We can’t stress enough what a tremendous value this coin represents!
