This is an R-6 (12-30 known) example of a Washlady Pattern Half. The quality is truly amazing!
Deep, glittering mirrors have killer clarity, remarkable cleanliness, and offer intense reflectivity. A beautiful mix of totally ORIGINAL blue/golden brown/champagne/pale violet colors are splashed all over. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal is tremendous!
PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 1. Far as we are aware, prior to our auction, this coin had never sold in any major auction. We paid $30,550.00 from our sale. The last Washlady Half to sell was PCGS PR65 CAC which brought $19,550.00 08/2012 Stacks. We can not stress enough the rarity and beauty of this coin. We think it should easily be worth $50,000.00-but the market is still a bit shy on great patterns. Time will change that!
