J-0593 $1 1867 PCGS PR64

$18,750.00

Struck from Brass. This is a high R-7 (which means LESS than 12 were minted). The other PR 64 specimen is impounded in our Simpson Pattern Collection-the finest of all time.

Like the 1851 that is struck in copper, this is a regular Seated Dollar struck in Brass! The metal takes the strike well. Both sides have very strong, crystal clear, clean, and powerfully reflective mirrors-certainly as good as what you on a regular 1867 Proof. The colors are rich brass with pale shades of green and blue. There are color spots scattered around the obverse. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is wicked cool!

This coin is also housed in an older green tag PCGS holder. The quality is very high end. The chances of finding another are virtually impossible.
