J-0193 1C 1858 PCGS PR65

Totally identical to a regular PR 1858 FE. This coin is an R-5 (31-75 minted). It is made from copper nickel.

If you didn’t know it was a Pattern, you’d swear it was another beautiful GEM Proof Flying Eagle. The mirrors are very flashy, clear, and clean. There are NO spots or discolorations. The color is an even golden brown/brown. All of the details are pinpoint sharp in strike. The eye appeal is powerful!

PCGS 11, NGC ?. PCGS/NGC have graded NONE higher. In regular PR65, the pops are 15. Also, they are worth a minimum of $20,000.00-and many times have sold for $30,000.00! The Judd Book lists this coin at $8,000.00 in PR65. There certainly are far LESS of these available than the regular Proofs! We doubt there is much downside here!
