No question this superior coin is more then worthy of its lofty designation!
Outstanding surfaces are exceedingly clean and sleek. There are light semi-prooflike mirrors on both sides (no imagination needed). Even using a strong glass you only become more impressed with this coins magnificent cleanliness. A good luster beams from all over (PL surfaces help them). Both sides are an original mix of pretty olive/gold/pale blue/green colors. Miss Liberty has an amazing strike for this much smaller coin. The eye appeal is gorgeous!
PCGS 13, NGC 14, CAC 18. PCGS has graded 17 in MS67+ (there must be one heck of a coin of out there for resubmissions). The last PCGS CAC MS67+ 1859 to sell in auction brought $5,405.00 01/2019.
We think 160 year old coin in virtually “as made” condition is a minor miracle it even exists. We highlight doubt there are 17 in MS67+. And if they are and all look super like this, then they are more then worth the money!
