We took one look and fell madly in love this misunderstood and rare GEM.
The quality is total GODZILLA. The surfaces are totally original. A few tiny toning dots can be detected only with a strong glass. Overall, there are NO imperfections and the texture is lightly glossy. A decent luster also shows off a mix of GEM brown with hints of original Mint Red. Nothing what so ever has been done to the color. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is incredible!
PCGS 4, NGC 6, CAC 2. In RB PCGS has graded only ONE coin-and there are NONE higher in ANY grade by PCGS.
The last time a PCGS MS66BN sold in auction was back 6 six years ago (1/2004 Heritage) where it realized $4,715.00. There are no accurate published prices for a coin like this-because none ever trade!
