Such a nifty coin! Everything about this piece is FULL GEM caliber!
The surfaces are problem free and are smooth. There is a die crack and some teenie toning dots visible only when using a strong glass. The surfaces are original and are not oiled up or were messed with. Both sides have a pretty much even brown color. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is very nice!
PCGS 7, NGC 11, CAC 1. In MS66BN one sold for $31,000.00 in 2014. At today’s prices, we think this coin is a bargain!
