We are thrilled to own and offer this exceedingly rare date. This coin also happens to be of exceptional quality!

At first glance, its easy to mistake this coin for a proof. The mirrors are a full 4″ deep and are fully proof like. There are a few microscopic ticks widely scattered and do NOT detract. To the naked eye the mirrors are clean. Both sides are bathed in a gorgeous and totally original orange/gold mix. There is one tiny toning dot on the OF on the reverse. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and do have thick frost. There is bold contrast between the devices and the mirrors. The eye appeal is fabulous!

ONLY 1950 were minted. PCGS 3, NGC 3, CAC 2. PCGS has graded NONE higher. Get this, the last record of ANY PCGS piece selling: 1998! Here too , there is NO accurate pricing for this date and grade. If you collect better gold, then you’ll know how ultra rare this date is in true GEM. The choppiness of the market has made great coins like this cheap again. We can’t stress enough what a terrific opportunity this coin represents!
