WOW! This coin is extremely high end and good looking. PCGS sure showed it no mercy!
We think only a microscopic frost break is all that keeps this coin from grading MS68 (we make no promises). The surfaces are incredibly sleek and and clean. Even using a microscope you just won’t find any problems. There ever so slight traces of semi-prooflike mirrors . A full booming luster really makes this coin visible from yards away. Both sides offer totally original yellow /greenish gold color. The reverse has a few faint copper toning dots (and we mean faint). Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have crisp sharp strikes. The eye appeal is stunning!
ONLY 5900 were ever minted. PCGS 8, NGC 2, CAC 7. This is the lone MS67+ graded by any service. A regular MS67 sold for $15,863.00 08/2014. PCGS has 2 MS68’s. One just sold for $42,300.00 08/2015. We assure you, your not going to see many of these ever offered!
