G $1 1857 PCGS MS67+ SIMPSON

We call this beast “cousin of Godzilla” because its not far off from the MONSTER Godzilla piece that’s an MS68 which replaced it. WOW!

Absolutely flawless surfaces shimmer all over. Only on the reverse can you find light die clashing (Mint made). Besides being perfect, the surfaces are velvety smooth. A bold luster enhance the gorgeous moderate and totally original two tone gold/orange gold colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike and have generous frost. The eye appeal is heart-pounding!

PCGS 3, NGC 0, CAC 5. PCGS has graded one MS68-which replaced this GEM (we paid $51,700.00 08/2015 ). Hard to believe there are 2 MS67+ pieces graded by PCGS. Neither has ever appeared in auction. The last REGULAR MS67 (NO +, NO CAC) sold for $19,550.00 11/2010. These simply never appear in the higher grades. Here you have the ultimate in quality, eye appeal, and pedigree.
