To start, this is an electrifying coin. These generally are not known to come nice (as proven out by the small pops in MS65 and higher). This coin certainly is nicer than most we have seen!
A fantastic and bold luster beams from all over. Save for Mint made light die clashing and some fine adjustment lines (visible ONLY w/a strong glass), this coin is remarkably clean. The color is a brilliant ORIGINAL orange gold. There are NO spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have extra sharp strikes. The eye appeal is fantastic!
PCGS 8, NGC 7, CAC XX. We do not understand for the life of us why this date and grade is so cheap. The last time a CAC coin was auctioned was back in 2010. It happened to be an NGC coin which brought $3,738.00 Heritage. NO PCGS CAC coins have auctioned. We think this should easily be a $5,000.00+ coin!
