G $1 1856 SLANTED 5 PCGS MS66

We are always amazed when we find these smaller coins in such lofty states of preservation after surviving for 162 years. This coin is SUPERB and is VERY high end. Outstanding surfaces are just that. The surfaces are seriously clean and are satiny smooth. Only when using a strong glass can you see microscopic tick or two. A moderate luster beams from all over. Both sides are a beautiful and totally original deep yellow gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations anywhere. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and standout with pinpoint sharp strikes. The eye appeal is fabulous! PCGS 8, NGC 4, CAC 6. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $6,325.00 04/2012. Do not be fooled by the pops, this is an extremely difficult date to find in SUPERB GEM. PCGS has graded only 5 coin higher.
