This coin is a borderline MS64!
The only draw back we can see-some planchet roughness on the right obverse and a few super light lines. Otherwise, the surfaces are clean. There are even traces of proolike mirrors. A strong luster shows off the beautiful and totally original deep yellow/orange gold colors. You can clearly see every detail is frosty and has a needle sharp strike. The eye appeal is phenomenal!
PCGS 5, NGC 12, CAC 4 (we believe this coin si 2x). PCGS has graded NOJNE higher. The last record for one of these selling in major auction was back in 08/2011. That coin back then brought $13,800.00. Keep in mind, our coin is very high end, is from a way obsolete Mint, and looks great! Plus, is at the top of the charts for PCGS!
