G $1 1853 PCGS MS67

We are always totally amazed when such a small coin like this survives in such a remarkable state of near perfection.  And it is only 165 years old! The coins quality is totally remarkable. Immaculate surfaces are really the epitome of perfection. They have a thick satiny smooth appearance. Even when using a strong glass you only become more impressed. A good luster beams from all over. Both sides are a wonderful and totally original deeper gold color. There are zero spots or stains. You do not need a glass to see how needle sharp every detail in the strike is. The eye appeal is great! PCGS 4, NGC 10, CAC 4. The PCGS CAC coin to sell in auction sold FOUR years ago. PCGS CAC gold has only dramatically dried up since then! This is a great coin to include and any super high end gold dollar or Type set. We last sold one in 2013. Pricing is just not accurate on these. Good luck finding another.
