G $1 1853-C PCGS MS63

We easily rank this rare obsolete Mint coin as a VERY HIGH END piece. Legend Numismatics is just enamored by this piece! Superb surfaces are a joy to behold. Even using a strong glass there are NO problems to really focus on. Ticks and line are nearly invisible and are NOT numerous. There are faint traces of semi prooflike mirrors. A really strong luster beams from all over. Both sides are a gorgeous totally original yellow gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations any where. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck, have light frost, and really stand out. The eye appeal is actually breathtaking! PCGS 5, NGC 13, CAC 4. PCGS has graded NONE higher after 30+ years of operations (amazing)!  The last one to sell in auction (NOT this coin) brought $13,800.00 08/2011. Think about that, none have appeared in auction in the last 7 years. That is forever ago! Even if you are not a C Mint Collector, this still is a pretty neat coin to own. We doubt you will see anything similar offered any time soon.
