If this coin were in an MS63 holder, we would not flinch. It is a very special coin that IS that high end.
The originality of this piece is incredible. Both sides are prooflike. The surfaces appear clean overall-however using a strong glass you can detect a teenie tick or two. We have seen MS63’s with more abrasions! The color is a deeper orange gold. There are NO spots. Miss Liberty and the details are incredibly struck. The eye appeal is terrific and then some!
The great rarity of this coin can NOT be over hyped. 6900 pieces were minted. PCGS 4, NGC 3, CAC 1. PCGS has only ONE higher while NGC may have 4 coins. This is one coin you never ever see in true MS!
