We assume PCGS wanted a coin to be beyond perfect (or something we don’t understand) to be graded a PR69. There is nothing that can be improved upon for this coin!
Absolutely FLAWLESS surfaces cover both sides. You can use a neutron microscope and you will find not even a microscopic imperfection. The satiny surfaces are also coated with a light mix of ORIGINAL lilac/rose/gold colors. There is a strong luster that beams from all over. As expected every detail is needle sharp in strike and stands out. The eye appeal is awesome!
PCGS 31, NGC 28, CAC 10. The last one to sell in major auction brought $11,163.00 08/2013 Heritage. Prior to that we bought a monster for $18,800.00 07/2013 Heritage. You certainly don’t see many offered with just 10 being beaned by CAC. Opportunity knocks loud here for sure.
