These are impossible to find unmessed with or in true GEM. This coin definitely is a treasure!
Extra clean and sleek surfaces reveal no major problems. There are some very teenie and light friction-but it can ONLY be found w/a strong glass (ditto for a few old small marks). A surprisingly bold luster also shows off beautiful reverse rainbow colors of gold/pale violet/baby blue/pale pearl green. The obverse is more of a regular nickel color with a hint of faint gold. All of he details have excellent strikes. This coin does blow away many MS65’s we have seen over the years! The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 22, NGC 21, CAC 3. NO 1925’S PCGS/CAC have been auctioned outside of this piece. We cannot stress enough how rare a TRUE GEM is. There is actually an iridescent rainbow effect on the rev. that the image does not show.
