A superior coin for a date known to come weakly struck and dull!
A bold luster beams from both sides. The surfaces are problem free and have a velvety texture. There are no spots to be found anywhere. The color is a nickel white. All of the details are exceptionally struck. Both PCGS and CAC are real strict about that. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 72, NGC 50, CAC 4. PCGS has only graded 7 coins higher (and CAC has done 2). The last coin to sell in a major auction was a NON CAC piece which brought $3,593.75 04/2011 Heritage. We just do not recall seeing many of these offered.
