5C 1916 PCGS PR67 YOUNG-DAKOTA

$10,250.00

This is the GODZILLA of toned 1916 Buff’s that we have ever seen (OMG if there is something better)! We’ve called many coins the epitome of perfection-the one is the ABSOLUTE EPITOME OF PERFECTION! There is no way this coin saw the light of day from the time it left the bank until it was encapsulated by PCGS. The Matte surfaces are fully intact and have the right texture. Even using a strong glass you will find NO imperfections of ANY size, ANY where. The luster is above average and is close to booming like a Morgan. Both sides are an incredible display of Mother Natures abilities. Godzilla shades of original nickel/pale blue/purple (yes, purple)/ fire engine gold colors boom from all over. Every detail is needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is fabulous! ONLY 600 were minted. PCGS 34, NGC 23, CAC 21. The last one to sell in auction brought $9,000.00 12/2018. It had NO color.  We highly doubt you ever see another 1916 5C even in high grade that is remotely similar-we sure never have (which is why we selected this coin for the Young-Dakota Collection). The value of this coin is all about the quality and the MONSTER EYE appeal (think of this coin as a piece worthy of being in the Northern Lights Morgan set)! WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE THIS COIN IS FROM THE YOUNG-DAKOTA COLLECTION-A LEGEND BUILT MONSTER COLLECTION OF PROOF BARBER AND GENERAL TYPE. GROUP I WILL BE OFFERED FOR  IN LEGEND AUCTIONS MARCH SALE. Buy this and the 1C PR66BN that is listed and you have a killer 1916 PR set!
