Both sides are basically “as struck”. That means all this coin has done since it was minted 95 years ago, was to sit carefully alone and develop some mellow color. the matte surfaces are exquisite. A light color of champagne/pale lilac evenly covers both sides. Every detail is pinpoint sharp in strike and stands out. The eye appeal is fabulous!
1050 were minted. PCGS 122, NGC 92, CAC 12. The last one sold in major public auction auction brought $2,530.00 03/2010 B+M. Opportunity knocks here for sure!
