5C 1912 PCGS MS66

$1,450.00

HAL COLLECTION. Much better than the average dull and crusty 1912!

Both sides are virtually perfect. Only a teenie MINT MADE planchet chip can be seen using a strong glass. The surfaces are smooth and also have a very strong luster. A light totally original mix of pale gold/pewter colors dart about both sides. Most important: Miss Liberty, the corn (on the reverse), and all of the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is terrific

To a degree, MS Liberty Nickels have been a casualty of gradeflation. We believe their real number of pieces that will ever CAC are substantially less than the pops indicate. PCGS 24, NGC 10. these certainly seem too cheap. The prices realized at auction for 2009 range from $1,265.00 to an NGC coin selling for $1,955.00.
