1888 5C are not famous for their mirrors. This coin clear has above average and ICE like mirrors!
Both sides are covered by deep, remarkably clean, crystal clear, and highly reflective mirrors. They look like a freshly forms sheet of ice. A faint hint of gold can be detected (but the coin still is silvery white). Miss Liberty and the details are as fully struck as you will ever see. The eye appeal is tremendous and is really flashy!
PCGS 6, NGC 14, CAC 3. A NON CAC PCGS coin last sold 03/09 Heritage for $3,738.00. This is still a very completable and affordable set!
