When we first saw this coin, our jaw dropped and locked. It is mother natures best work EVER on any MS Liberty Nickel we have ever seen!
The quality of the coin is all there and then some too! Both sides have super satiny surfaces that have no real imperfections-even when using a strong glass. There is one teeny dead fleck at 7;00 on the star on the obverse-and that’s it. The luster is super strong. Incredible ORIGINAL shades of fiery pink/red/greens/gold blue/purples all swirl wildly and super vividly on the obverse. The reverse has more a circular formation of the colors. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is unforgettable!
PCGS 11, NGC 12, CAC 4. We do know in 2002 this coin did sell in a major auction for $21,850.00 11/2002 Heritage. We heard it resold for $35,000.00. Keep in mind, NO OTHER MS Liberty Nickel has surfaced with MEGA MONSTER colors like this!
