We sold this magnificent piece to a collector 2+ years ago and he is now changing what he collects. Out of the 3790 minted, and after 25+ years of operations, it says a lot about the quality of this coin by the fact is the ONLY PR68 graded by PCGS!
Use the most powerful microscope on earth-you will see NO flaws. The mirrors are clean, clear, sleek, and have moderate depth and reflectivity. Both sides are an ORIGINAL nickel/lilac/pale gold color. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have light frost. The eye appeal is beautiful!
PCGS 1, NGC 3, CAC 1. This coin last sold in auction back on 08/11 heritage. We had purchased it after the sale and it has been with a collector since. Opportunity knocks loud for any building a monster PR Lib Nickel set or Type set! If this were in an auction today, it probably would bring a run away price.
