This is NOT your typical PR67 Shield Nickel. It is so SUPER HIGH END we submitted it seeking a 67+. Yet again, we have no idea what PCGS wants. Even the pickiest buyer WILL love this GEM!
Shimmering mirrors are surprisingly strong, have amazingly clarity, are perfectly clean, and have strong glassy reflectivity. This is NOT a dipped or messed with coin. There is NO toning. ALL of the details are frosty and have needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal is definitely awesome!
PCGS 15, NGC 12, CAC 7. Do not confuse this with the commoner 79/8 (pop 25 in PCGS PR67). PCGS has graded NONE higher. The last one of these (NON CAC) to sell in major auction brought $3,220.00 06/10 Heritage. We also must add, that when we were building the incredible Law Collection of Proofs, this date was one of the last we needed. We can’t stress enough how loud Opportunity Knocks here!
