50C MISSOURI 2X4 PCGS MS65

We have been in the Commem market aggressively for OVER 30 years (yes that long). They really deserve better! However during that time grading got too lax and for a while there was nothing but overgraded junk floating around. We remember when back in 1988 Peter Shaffer had a remarkable pop 2 MS 65 one of these in his set. At the time it as about a $15,000.00 coin. Prices have dropped to levels that are what we call “stupid” cheap. Time will heal these wounds-at least we still hope!

This is a nice and solid for the grade MS65. CAC agrees too. The surfaces are smooth, extra clean, and te luster is decent. Hints of light original toning are scattered about and get deeper by the rims. All of the details are well struck (the strap on the reverse is partial-the way they are struck). The eye appeal is VERY pleasing.
