We know this coins past three owners each tried it for a MS67+ (including us). PCGS obviously has held firm. Its a stunner!
Outstanding surfaces are extremely clean and smooth. A strong luster shows off heart pounding obverse rings of totally ORIGINAL reddish gold color. There are NO rings on the reverse. All of the details are way above average in strike. Typically, these coin very soft-this piece is not. The eye appeal is stunning!
PCGS 60, NGC 95, CAC 29 (we’d bet this is at least 3 coins). This is the coin that sold for $4,993.00 09/2013 Heritage. It got that price for a reason-its really a MS67+ (just do not count on PCGS agreeing)! If you seek a seriously above average Maryland, then check this coin out!
