We just do not get to these in such a lofty state of preservation! This coin is a SUPERB GEM for sure!
The surfaces are amazingly clean and sleek. Only around the face (which is typical) can you see (with a glass) a few ticks. Traces of semi-prooflike mirrors can be seen. Both sides are silvery white. All of the details are well struck-as can be (we have never seen or heard of a perfect strike on one of these). The eye appeal is fantastic!
Only 6000 were minted. PCGS 12, NGC 21, CAC 7. The last one to sell in major auction brought $3,220.00 6/12 Heritage. Good luck on finding another! We have always been stumped as to why BTW’s are not worth more-or what they really should be.
