WOW! What a beautiful SUPERB GEM!
This coin does have LIGHT tissue paper toning-but it is NOT hazy or drab in any way. The mirrors are deep, crystal clear, super clean, and do have bold reflectivity. They look like a freshly formed sheet of ice. A wonderful light “halo” of pastel like ORIGINAL rainbow colors frames the obverse. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and do have light silvery frost. The eye appeal is like candy!
PCGS 42, NGC 181, CAC 27. The last PCGS coin to sell in auction was a NON CAC and it brought $5,581.00 01/2014 Heritage. Fortunately, we bought this wonderful piece right and are not selling it via auction!
