We’ve had our share of cool Guttag coins. When we see them in the secondary market and they are good deals and are rarely nice coins-we do buy them. This coin was too outstanding not buy!
The surfaces of this piece are absolutely pristine. We looked hard and long and found NO imperfections. A strong luster shows off a light and dusky pale ORIGINAL golden brown color. This is NOT dull or drab looking. The details are all sharply struck. The eye appeal is excellent!
ONLY 6000 were ever minted. PCGS 90, NGC 116, CAC 34. Only 9 MS67+ were graded by PCGS so far. The last one to sell in auction brought $2,585.00 06/2013 Heritage. Opportunity knocks loud here!
