Have not owned a nice MATCHED ORIGINAL 1936 set like this in a few years! We just have not seen ones we liked.
This set clearly is matched. Each coin has a moderate mix of deeper pewter/champagne colors. The surfaces are all super clean and have a strong luster. All of the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal of the set is terrific!
Only 8900 sets were ever minted. We can’t stress enough how loud opportunity knocks here!
