What a killer coin. We bought this piece from a collector who we placed it with back in 2012. It looks every bit as good now as it did then. This is a VERY high end coin too!
The surfaces are magnificent. They are totally clean and satiny. Only when using a strong glass can you see a nearly invisible light scuff on the obverse. Overall, the dreaded right field is clean. A full booming luster beams from all over. Both sides are a stunning original white highlighted by and even more captivating band of gold by the rims only. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and show a full split thumb. The eye appeal is really grand!
PCGS 50, NGC 27, CAC 22. PCGS has graded 4 in MS67+ with none higher. The last PCGS CAC MS67 to sell in auction brought $6,463.00 03/2019 (this was not the coin-this is a totally fresh to market piece). We really can’t imagine many pieces ever really being better then this!
