Of course we step up and buy this coin right after we tell you the market for + Walkers is overheated. Oops, we meant the market for SHORT SET 1940s Walkers is overheated, not for the earlier dates, especially when they are SUPER HIGH END like this!
This coin absolutely borders on MS67. We even had the chance to compare it to an MS67 and trust us, it is really close. A few RAISED lines can be seen, along with a tiny dead fleck, but otherwise this coin is the epitome of cleanliness and satiny texture. The luster is super strong and shows off ORIGINAL creamy white surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is heart pounding!
PCGS 108, NGC 45, CAC 18. This is the ONLY MS66+ graded by PCGS and it just sold for $8,500.00 in the 3/12 Heritage sale. Next to it, a PCGS/CAC MS67 sold for $41,250.00. We knew this coin would turn out to be a great value! Our asking price is more than reasonable.
