We LOVE this pristine GEM!
We looked at this coin several times with a strong glass and found only a few toning dots. There are NO marks of any kind anywhere. A decent luster (for a 1928) shows off light golden toning that is evenly spread over the surfaces. All of the details are exceptionally struck. the eye appeal is lovely!
ONLY 6000 were minted. PCGS 65, NGC 84, CAC 10. A NON CAC coin sold in a recent 08/2011 Stacks sale for $1,093.00. We believe coins like this are just way too cheap!
