As you know most HI’s are from the Bank of HI hoard and have that drab pea green crusty coloration. This coin was from a collector and NOT that hoard. You can clearly tell by this coins totally ORIGINAL multicolored hues!
Unquestionably a full GEM, this coin has NO visible problems. Only with a strong glass can you detected a teenie tick or two. The surfaces also emit a VERY strong luster Both sides have a gorgeous eye popping color scheme of reddish gold by the rims opening into pale blue/pearl green/amber centers. All of the details are very well struck. The eye appeal is phenomenal!
PCGS 462, NGC 368, CAC 57. The last PCGS/CAC MS65 HI to sell in a major auction brought $4,888.00 08/2011 Heritage. That coin did not have colors anywhere near this one. Actually, very few HI’s you will ever see will! We are pleased to offer this real colored HI!!!
